Welcome to Granite City Soccer Club

Month of November 2008

Granite City Soccer Club volunteered their time coaching kids ages from 4 - 9 years old. This was organized by District 742 Community Ed. Below are pictures are few of the groups that participated.

Month of October 2008

Granite City Soccer would like to congratulate Apollo, Cathedral and Tech High School in making to the State Tournament and all the players in the surrounding area who played their hearts out for love of soccer.

Granite City Soccer Club would like to congratulate their coaches for an outstanding High School season.

Tech Boys Head Coach, Nantha Viswanathan, was selected the Coach of the Year and the team won the CLC Conference and was the Sectional Champions. This was the first time in Tech High School history, that the team made an appearance at the State Tournament. His team record was 15-3-4. He coached Granite City Girls U18 and Boys U19 Premier.

Apollo Girls Head Coach, Ganard Orionzi, won the Sectional Champions and made their appearance at the State Tournament. His team record was 15-6-1. He coached Granite City Girls U19 Classic 1.

Tech Girls Head Coach, Eric Olson, made it to Sectional Semi-Finals, against Brainerd. His record was 10-10. He coached Granite City U18 Girls with Nantha Viswanathan.
